Cynthia J. DeForge founded Ready 2 Launch in 1993, after having worked with many software companies in a marketing management capacity. "While most software and internet companies have good marketing resources, there weren't many who had people focusing on the specifics of launching new products and services," says DeForge. "There are unique strategies that come into play during a launch that affect the future of both the product and the company. We decided to focus Ready 2 Launch on those strategies to help companies have the most successful launch based on their unique capabilities and strengths." Since then, Ready 2 Launch has worked with international and US companies ranging from Fortune 1000 to small development houses, helping them launch into the US market. These companies have successfully launched products or services in all markets, from mass consumer to specialized target verticals. Ms. DeForge has spoken at many industry conferences, including Software Publishers Association (now SIIA), Software Success Forum, and SoftExpo International. She co-authored a book published by Select Press entitled "10 Secrets of Marketing Success", authored a book published by Software Success entitled "How to Orchestrate the Perfect Software Product Launch". She has written articles and/or been quoted in various industry magazines including Software Publisher & Developer, Business 2.0, Profit Magazine, and California Computer News. When not working, at speaking engagements, or writing, Ms. DeForge enjoys a home in Sonoma, California and puts a fair amount of time into launching garden blooms and edibles.
